Upper Wye Weekend 26/27th January 07

First 30 seconds on the Clywedog

As you have hopefully seen on the programme on the club website, there is a weekend’s paddling trip being organised by Paul Donohue on 26th and 27th January.
Paul has just contacted the bunkhouse people MidWalesFarmstay up at Rhyader, for the forthcoming upper Wye trip/Burns weekend, and the barn is currently available for the weekend of the 26th/27th – with 16 places available.

The cost per night is £12 per person or £180 for the whole barn (works out at 1 ‘free’ place per night). They do have a drying room which is always appreciated and canoeists are welcome and it’s highly recommended. Understandably they would prefer if we booked two nights – which should suit us.
The trip would be suitable for intermediate paddlers but if you are not sure then ask one of the senior coaches for advice.
In order to secure the booking can anyone who is interested contact Paul this week and get a (non-refundable) deposit of £10 to him soon after that so we can get the ball rolling. email Paul at
