Have you ever fancied trying sea kayaking? Then the weekend of April 25 - 27 is for you.

The trip is being jointly arranged by Paul Haggett and Brian Smith who are both experienced sea kayakers. The plan is to use the facilities of Llanrug Outdoor Education Centre which is run by Worcestershire County Council.                              

Llanrug is near Caernarfon, with Anglesey so close this is an ideal base for Sea Kayaking. I’ve been here before and both the scenery and wildlife can be fascinating.
It’s suitable for anyone who is able and comfortable to paddle a couple of miles for example who can paddle from Eckington Bridge to Nafford without problems (i.e. paddling fitness or paddling level) and is confident of paddling through Symonds Yat.
If there are competent novices who want to attend and they are unsure of their ability then speak to Paul and he will run a simple assessment on the river before the trip.
The accommodation cost is very reasonable to include cold platter Friday night, breakfast and packed lunch on Saturday and Sunday plus evening meal on Saturday night. Use of drying room. Cost £60.00 per person.
Hire of sea kayaks £10.00 per person per day if accommodation is included - otherwise £15.00 per person per day. We will need to secure a deposit to reserve the facilities.
