Today we went to Nafford, met ther at 10am. Graham, Richard, Simon, Jon, Paul, and myself (Clive) and got to is as it were. The level was relly good and the weather was great. After a while Fitz arrived and Gary turned up in an open boat.

Jon was paddling his super tanker, what a big boat that it, I had a go and it was very comfortable but very very boyant, great for river running and blasting through big stuff. Most of us were in our usual boats and we all had a great time.

After a bit of tuition Paul got very keen and had a go on the wave, it did not take long before he saw what it was all about - he had a great time, and what with being back at Nafford on Thursday I think he will be in his element.

Just before we left at 12ish Cheltenham Canoe Club truned up with about 9 or so people and they got straight into it.
