Recently a number of Club members did the Doggy Paddle. It was agreat day, everyone enjoyed themselves, and to top it off we donated over £600 to the Guide Dogs for the Blind, a very worthwhile cause.

Any one interested in entering a Bell boat team?
We generally help out with helming this hugely popular event but thought we should be able to enter a team or teams as well. Andy Train (the organiser) has suggested we enter the open competition with an adult team as we probably don’t have enough juniors in any one age category to make up a team. Having seen the standard of teams last year our juniors would put in a pretty good effort in this class. Actually they would make a great addition to any team if we don’t get enough for a junior team.
If you are interested please let me know by the weekend so I can let Andy know we have a team.
Details of a the local polo league are out. Do we want to enter any teams?
These are very friendly events and great for anyone looking to improve there boat handing skills and do something a bit different on a few Saturday evenings. It would be good to put any a junior team and adult team. We would probably have enough people for a ladies team as well. There are some costs involved so we would not want to enter teams unless there is some commitment to make up the teams.
Dates are here but you do not need to be able to make them all …
Please let me know in the next week or so if you are interested
After some hard work by the club we received recent confirmation that Wychavon Kayak & Canoe Club have been awarded Club Mark status by Canoe England.
It has taken us a while to get to this stage but it was worth it. Thanks go to Paul Haggatt who started us out on this process and who put a lot of work in at the start.
Thanks to all who were involved in us achieving Club Mark Status.
