Pool Rule Changes

Follow a conversation with the NCW and the use of their pool we have agreed that, until further notice, that no one will take any personal kit to the pool. The issue is specifically over the pH levels in the pool and in order for them to understand if we are impacting on this we have agreed to this. As we gain further information we will keep you posted. If you have any questions please speak to Adam or Clive.

WKCC AGM Agenda

Please read the agenda attached below for next Tuesdays AGM.

We still have a number of Committee positions that will become vacant  and will therefore need to be filled. Without volunteers offering just a few hours of their time each week our Club would not be able to exist, and develop in the future. The roles are not designed to be onerous and the more volunteers we have to help organise the Club the less hours each of us will have to contribute, so think about what skills you have and put them to use them with WKCC and to help us progress to become an even better paddling club.

Please see agenda for details.

Junior Canoe Polo

A very impressive leisure complex and brilliant facilities met us. All the teams got themselves ready, 6 teams in all took part, many having travelled quite a distance. Our team players were: Michael, Andy, Sophie, Tom and Oliver. Sadly, 3 of our team could not play. We hope Emma, Laura and Rachel can compete next time. It was our first official competition and our juniors certainly did not let us down. Despite some initial nerves, all played very well showing off their differing skills. We did not win as a club but our efforts were certainly admired. With continued effort and hard work we have the makings of a very good team. Good luck in the forthcoming rounds. I would encourage all those that did not play to have a go and see if you would like to take part in future competitions.

Regards Ed.
