Donation

The Club has received a generous donation of kit from the family of Peter Kemp who paddled with WKCC some years ago.  Peter tragically died of a drug overdose seven years ago and the family have not been able to bring themselves to part with the paddling kit until now.

They felt Peter was only truly happy when on the water and would now like the kit to be put to good use.  I suggested the boats should go to young paddlers who need their first boat and maybe get passed down once they are ready to move on; Peter’s father liked this idea and thought it would be a good tribute.

If you have any suggestions on who might make the most of one of the boats please let me know.

The boats are both in good condition but need a bit of clean.  They are a Prijon Delirium and a Prijon Kaituna.
