We had a great session at Nafford on Sunday. Water was low but a great opportunity for some skills practice in crossing, edging and a bit of surfing. Well done to those who came along and made some good progress, Thanks to Tony for the following photos: [Show as slideshow] [View with PicLens] 1234► Hi, we had a brilliant time at Brecon this weekend. well organised by Ed but many other contributions from a majority of the people there. A real team effort. There will be reports to follow for each day but to get you started here are some photos from Liz. I have hopefully removed any photos [...] Paddlefest 2011 Having been woken up extra early we headed off to Paddlefest at Cardiff International White Water centre. After the hour and a half of travelling we arrived and already many paddlers were having fun on the white water course. However the fun didn’t stop off the course as there were many stalls like [...] A very big thank you, to everyone who helped on Bank Holiday Monday at Pershore Plum Festival. These include the following; Clive, Graham, Fitz, Nick Davies ,Wendy, Liz ,Sophie, Emma, Caroline,Oliver and Luke.{apologies if I have forgotten anyone.} 48 people braved the waters. These were representative of many differing ages from all walks of life, [...] July weekend camp at the Unicorn Inn at Hampton Loade, Chelmarsh, Nr Bridgnorth, (Chelmarsh side of the river)! You must have booked in with Jonathon by the end of Wednesday so he can plan equipment. Campsite details The campsite is in a field by the riverside, with two access points to the river at either side of our [...] We will be having a session at Symonds Yat East this coming Sunday. You will need to be ready to be on the water for 2pm so I suggest you get there for 1:30 pm. The car park is likely to be busy so you have to be patient to find a space. [Show as slideshow] [View with PicLens] A good assessment session was held at Pershore today for 10 people, some who are working towards their UKCC L1 coaching qualification. The overall standard was very good with just a few points to finalize for a couple of candidates. Many thanks to all who came along and enjoyed the sunshine and very cold water. [...] Does anyone fancy writing a report from the Winter Social Event we had a few weeks ago.
