Droitwich Virtual Canoe Club are organising a paddle experience session at the new Droitwich Lido between 7-9pm on Thursday 10th July. Various boats will be there for you to try and Paul will be bringing sea kayak(s).This will also be our WKCC Thursday club meeting and you can take your own boat as long as you wash it out to remove all grit and leaves.
Phil Hadely, who is the BCU West Midlands Youth and Paddlesport Development Officer, will be attending if you have any questions for him.

Activities include:
Friday 4th (Late afternoon/Evening) Pitch at Rugby club, meet in bar, quiz, briefing
Saturday 5th Morning - Avon river trip - from 10am
Afternoon - Water games
Evening - BBQ - bring your own food. Disco / bar
Sunday 6th Paddling, individually arranged (advice form club will be provided)
Tidy up and leave

We have limited kayak and canoe hire available - please email organisers with your requirements on
Rates will be £4 per boat per day (or part day), £2 for WKCC members.

Prices :
-WKCC members - £2.50 per adult per night; £1.25 per child per night 
-Non members - £5.00 per adult per night; £2.50 per child per night
-Non BCU members need to also pay £1.50 insurance costs for the weekend

Pershore Rugby Club is 3/4 along Church Street. Please be considerate when driving through Wyre Piddle village as the local residents support us with access to the river to allow this event to take place.
Note you cannot enter Wyre village from the Evesham end of the A44 as you will be traffic camera photographed and fined so take care.  The Google Map and directions available here allow you to zoom in and out and switch to aerial view and drag the centre of the map around to find the parts you wish to see in detail.
