It was a beautiful start to the day with lots of sunshine on the journey to Leominster with Paul C.  We met Graham, Clive, Steve and Frizz Ease at 10 am and after all the usual getting ready and ferry [this time Graham did remember to bring his spray deck!] we got on the water at about 11. Christmas Party Saturday 20th December

Just to remind you all that the WKCC Christmas party will be held on Saturday 20th December at Pershore Football Club. Final details to be confirmed but it will be a similar style to last year and involve a buffet, casino or skittles etc.
In order to book the catering Sandie needs to know numbers by Thursday 27th November. Please contact Sandie to let her know how many tickets you require and then get a £5 per head deposit to Sandie as soon as possible. The event is open to non-members as well.The final cost will be £10 for adults and £5 for children including food.

Lugg Trip for all Sunday 28th September

Just a reminder about this weekend (Sunday 28/09/08) on the Lugg over at Leominster. The river is suitable for all paddlers and as such all are welcome. 

The plan is to meet at Leominster main car park (by the Fire Station) at 10am. Shown on the map at the end of Arkwright Close.


Please make sure you have the appropriate kit for the trip including drinks, snacks and some lunch to take in your boat. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask someone in the club for advice. If you need a boat for the trip please contact Clive Pearson   to make arrangements Open boats and Topo Duo are also available for Club members.

The club now has a stock of the Paddle Power Passport books for our youth members to buy £2.50. Fladbury to Pershore Thursday 26th June

Above Fladbury WeirIf anyone needs to collect kit and to avoid the limited parking at Fladbury then we will be at the Pershore Riverside Centre at about 18:20 on Thursday with an intention to be away just after 18:30. We can then share transport and do a ferry at the end as parking in Fladbury is limited.  Hope to see you there.
